Being a real life martial arts expert Lee Joon Gi shines in this often action-packed role. I personally really enjoyed the energy of this show, as the action and fight scenes really spiced up what might have become a slow or tedious legal drama.
On Jan. 18, Deadline revealed that production on Season 3 is officially underway, and shared some photos of the season premiere. Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez revealed that the premiere will start and end with flashback scenes of a younger Mickey finishing up a morning of surfing before a "life-changing" day at work and spending time with his then-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell) and their daughter in the evening.
No official word from Netflix just yet although we’ve heard (and reported in July 2024) that development is already underway on a fourth season of the lawyer series at Netflix although no word on production just yet. Actress Neve Campbell has also let loose that she’s signed up for a fourth season
Moon-sook and Oh-joo grow in influence and power through corrupt methods; Oh-joo becomes the anciano of Kisung and Moon-sook is nominated for chief justice in the Supreme Court. They and their associates oppose the Lawless Law Firm both inside and outside the courtroom by using underhanded tactics, including murdering Dae-woong and framing Sang-pil for it, bribing or threatening witnesses and assaulting Jae-yi.
Sang-pil and Jae-yi report the confession of the murderer, but the police do not accept it. Thus, the law firm begins to look into the hitman's past to find something they Gozque use in court. Jae-yi learns that Sang-pil and others believe that Moon-sook is corrupt. While not willing to believe it, she begins to see some logic in their belief. She later informs Sang-pil that she wants to believe him, but cannot do so without evidence.
We’re still piecing together the puzzle of all the episodes for season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer, but our understanding is that there may only be 9 episodes for the next season.
No split season this time around! All episodes drop on October 17th with a season 4 likely on the way.
When the series was first renewed, it was unclear where production on the new series was and where it’d begin because of the Hollywood strikes of 2023.
Scales, released on probation, mentions he will be dead if he doesn't pay back his last investor. Mickey asks Lorna to figure out how to get DeMarco. Freemann gets removed from the domestic violence case after her subordinate tells Freemann's boss about Freemann not notifying the victim. Freemann vents to Mickey after being taken off the case, but Mickey is unsympathetic after she reveals she told her second chair about it. Discovering the trap has succeeded, Cisco and Lorna show Mickey and Siegel the video recorded at Sterghos' house, of Bishop and DeMarco planting copyright in the refrigerator. Siegel plans to leave town, and warns Mickey to be careful.
He soon finds demodé that she was back in LA and back in the life. Far from saving her, Mickey may have been the one who put her in danger.
Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the legítimo systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-pasado but certainly relatable.
"Even if she’s not there, [she’s] always in the back of his being. There’s always something about Maggie that’s there. When he meets new girls, I think he’s always feeling that he’s cheating on her."
Mickey assumes Grant had Kim killed, but delivers a compelling closing argument that Mújol was framed, and she is acquitted. Elena leaves for a film shoot, and Cisco discovers that Kim's inspection mirror left the shard near Bondurant's body. Lorna and Cisco lose their wedding venue, Lisa and Mickey give in to their mutual attraction, and Mickey and Freemann settle their differences. Visiting Venice Beach with Hayley, Mickey realizes the truth about Jeff and confronts Lisa: the man he met was her former employee posing Ganador her ex-husband. The Positivo Jeff filed for divorce, jeopardizing Mújol's restaurant, so she killed him and buried him on her property, the reason she refused to sell to Bondurant.
